Messi avoids ban ahead of their world cup qualifiers

 

Lionel Messi has avoided ban ahead of the world cup qualifier and I've been cleared to play in the two international fixtures that will take place in October.

Messi was sent-off in July last year in the Copa America third-place off against Chile and was handed a one-game ban.

The South American football confederation (CONMEBOL) said Messi would have to miss a competitive match with the Argentina captain allowed to play it friendly games against Brazil and Uruguay last year.

Ahead of the world cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Bolivia next month, Tapia successfully challenged the outstanding plan with CONMEBOL claiming the state of limitation on the bank had expired.

Messi was shown the red card due to his clash with Gary medel in the 37th minute with the Chilean also sent off for the incident, which Argentina went on to win goals from Sergio Aguero and Paulo dybala.
