Messi in tears while giving his goodbye speech

Lionel Messi is now a free agent after his contract with Barcelona broke down. He gave his speech this morning and it was emotional and he was in tears as the board of Barcelona were applauding him. In his speech he said he didn't wanted to leave and he tried everything possible but it was all in vain. "I did everything possible and the club, Laporta, they couldn't do it because of La Liga. "I've heard things said about me, that I didn't want to continue, but on my life, we did everything we could because I wanted to stay. "Last year, I didn't want to stay and I said it; this year, I wanted to stay and we couldn't." See full video below;
